Sunday Afternoon Cards

What is better than a Friday in the Spring? Love it! I hope you are all going to do something fun with your time this weekend. I plan on working on one of my Blog Hop projects that we have coming up. Going to hop along with Therm-o-Web, can't wait!

Today I have some awesome cards to show you that were created with the Sunday Afternoon Stack. I love this stack!! Happy, happy, happy is all I have to say about it :) This stack is out at Michaels right now so swing by and check it out in person!

Karla's card can be seen HERE on her blog. Love how she mixed up the different prints from the stack. They all coordinate so well :)

Jan made this following 3 cards. These look so easy and the cute details in them make me smile.

Look HERE to see more views of Jan's cards.

Karen created this card using the Sunday Afternoon Stack too. I love the little tickets sticking out from behind the stamped image. And the chevron is a perfect, simple background. Karen's card can be seen more HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today, I think these cards are awesome!!!!

Have a great weekend :)

Dreaming of Denim

Hello! I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday! I am at my computer, with my window open, sun shining inside while I work away on my computer and watch "What Not To Wear". The joys of working from home :) I hope your day is just as sunny wherever you are!

There is one main reason why I love this Denim Stack.

It reminds me of home. Of Texas. Did you know I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas? I still feel it explains so much of who I am. My dad's family is still there, and I have lots and lots of personality traits from that side of the family. Basically, I like to blame my sass and attitude on being a Texan :)

This stack is so much fun! It is out at Jo-Ann and I think it fills a niche in the craft paper world that you definitely wanted. I always hear the request that people want a western themed stack. I think this fits the bill! Maybe a more sophisticated western :)

Sara made this darling layout using the Denim Stack. The bandanna prints are awesome! And did you notice her daughter's car seat is a cow print?? Fits right in there :) HERE is more on Sara's layout.

Jan created this fun layout using the stack and a perfect photo of her grandson. I love how she mixed the different textures and hardware in with her layout.

Isn't he adorable? You can see more of Jan's layout HERE on her blog.

And don't forget that it is Wednesday which means a new episode of DCWV Deals on My Craft Channel! Watch today's episode HERE and see an AWESOME idea on how to display your artwork in your home. We used the Industrial Chic Stack which is out at Michaels but the rest of the supplies you can find on :)

Have a wonderful day!

April Showers Bring...

Hey there! Monday, Monday is here and so are you! Thanks for stopping by the blog today :) I hope you all had a great weekend, can you believe we are heading into the last week of April. School will be out before we know it. Crazzzzy!

Here in Utah, April has been FULL of showers...rain showers and snow showers! Crazy weather. I wanted to show you these darling projects that are related to umbrellas from our Juniper Berry Stack. This stack has been out at Jo-Ann and comes in the 12x12 and 6x6 size. It is so cute and has some great blue and white prints.

Dayna Sabrina made this first card that can be found HERE. I love this umbrella print and her cute embossed clouds popping off the card are just so fun! I love how she mixed up the prints from Juniper Berry, the all coordinate so well.

Design Team member Sara made this sweet card. I love how Sara folded the umbrella to give it a little extra dimension. Very cute! See more of her card HERE.

Rita from the DT used her Mixed Media skills to make this great piece. The awesome quote goes so well with the clouds, rain and umbrellas. I wish I had more time to get more into the Mixed Media craze, I just love seeing Rita's neat projects! See more of this project HERE on Rita's blog.

On this last week of April, whether you are in rain showers, snow showers or sun showers, I hope these great projects "showered" you with inspiration!

Have a wonderful day!

Baby GIrl {Love}

Hello again! Did you miss me?! Never fail, I am back here on the blog with more Stack inspiration!

First off, it is Wednesday which means there is a new episode of DCWVDeals: Creative Inspiration on a Budget at My Craft Channel! Watch today's episode HERE. It is all about how to make some great, mixed media inspired tags!

Today's projects all use this ultimate Baby Girl Stack that is out at Michaels right now. The bright pink, light pink, grey and orange is such a fun color combination! And the prints are oh so cute, perfect for layouts, cards or even baby shower decor as you will see!

DT member, Jan, created this darling card. I don't have any girls of my own but if I were pregnant with one, I am sure I would be on "Cloud 9" too! These hot air balloons are just too fun. See more of Jan's card on her blog HERE.

Emily made the cutest things to display at a baby shower! I love each of these projects so much and you should definitely go HERE to see all of them up close and with more views. The mini album, card and door hanger have so much detail it's incredible. I can't imagine projects being any more GIRLY!

Team member, Sara, made this precious layout. I can relate to it so much. The title, "Why I create" is followed by "to see you looking through the albums reminds me why I do this." I completely agree! My  little guys just love their books too. We sure have a fulfilling hobby here! See more of Sara's sweet layout HERE.

LASIK is tomorrow! Wish me luck!

The Gorgeous Magnolia Way

Hello my friends! That is said with a big ol' smile! I had a wonderful weekend and I woke up ready to start another great week. It is just hard for me to be grumpy when the sun is out, spring is here and life is good! I am finally getting my LASIK eye surgery on Thursday! I am nervous and totally excited! Do any of you have experience with this?? Please leave me a comment if you do! I am trying to prepare myself all I can but I know you can help me :)

First off, want to make sure you know about our big sale at DCWVDeals! This is the best coupon that we have had in a while. Because we are celebrating the GOOD part of Tax Day today! Well for those of us who had to pay taxes {hand raised} it kinda stinks. But a coupon make everything better right? :) Code: TAXDAY will give you 30% off a $30 order at DCWVDeals until Wednesday night at midnight. This is such an awesome sale! Have fun shopping :)

Get ready to get blown away by this awesome stack and the projects that I have to show you today! Wow. I am just LOVING Magnolia Way Stack which is out at Jo-Ann right now. The colors and detail in this stack are just amazing! Don't believe me?

DT Member Karen made this amazing layout with the Magnolia Way Stack. I loooovvvveeee the great flowers that she hand cut to feature on her page. It really makes the page unique and special.

And you can see how much dimension that it gives the page too. HERE is Karen's blog post where you will see more views of her beautiful page!

Rita from the Design Team created this beautiful mini album with the stack. The flowers in this stack really are pieces of art in my opinion!

I love the typography that is printed on top of some of the flowers, another example of the great detail that was invested in the design of this stack. The color palette in this stack is so fresh and beautiful and it came out just in time for our Spring projects. See more pages in Rita's mini album HERE.

Tessa also used Magnolia Way to make a beautiful Birthday card. Everything about this card is just sweet and serene. I just love it! And mixing in the paper dollie was such a great finishing touch.

HERE is Tessa's blog post about her card and another great idea on how to package a small gift. Our team is just so clever, the amaze me everyday!

I predict....that you have added Magnolia Way Stack to your I NEED IT list, right??

Have a wonderful day!

Totally Tie Dye

Congratulations to all of you! You made it through another week :) Some weeks it feels like that right? Maybe this week has been dragging out for me because I have been so excited for tonight to get here! I am running away with my best friend for the night :) We are heading to the city for dinner and some shopping...with NO kids! Sometimes you just need to get away right?! I hope all of you have something fun planned this weekend...and definitely some crafting planned too!

What better way can we celebrate the arrival of FRIDAY than with a little Tie Dye action :) Have you seen this psychedelic stack at Michaels yet? It is 48 pages of pure fun! And lots of colors :) This is one of those stacks that you may not see all of the fun possibilities right away. I am excited to show you these projects all made by our great Design Team member, Dayna Sabrina!

First up is this darling set of cards! Peace signs are still a major rage around the fashion and crafting world. I think these are so fun to give, definitely would bring a smile to my face. HERE is Dayna Sabrina's blog post about her cool cards :)

HERE is another card that has a complete different feel, but using the same stack! Dayna Sabrina just used a little of the Tie Dye paper, with a neutral white background. Paired up with this fun ribbon, this card gives off such a happy vibe!

I thought that this was another fun idea to use with this stack or any stack really! Dayna Sabrina and her friend made this banner for her friend's daughters softball team. HERE the blog, you can see some up close shots of all the girls on the team. She gives some great instructions on how she made it too! I bet the team just loves this!

Have a wonderful spring weekend! I will be back here on Monday with more paper inspiration!
