July Stack-a-holic Template Challenge

Hello! I would say "Happy Hump Day" but no, it's a short week! Yay! I hope everyone enjoys their 4th of July tomorrow! We will be closed tomorrow and Friday so I will be enjoying the holiday at my husbands Family Reunion. We are so excited! I love his family :)

With it being a short week, I feel like I have lots of info to give you today so be sure to read the entire post! First up is the July Stack-a-holic Challenge! Whoot, whoot! Anyone month is here and we get to play :) All you have to do is use these templates to create a page or a card or both using some of your favorite DCWV paper! Send me a picture at erinmadsen@dcwv.com or post the photo on our DCWV Facebook Page. That will get you entered, you have until July 30th to get your entries in. Ready to play?

Here is our awesome page from Sketch Savvy!

I LOVE this new Citrus Stack that is out at Jo-Ann! And I mean LOVE. The colors and prints are awesome. I love this page and the fun Burlap paper that is mixed in! The 6x6 Burlap Stack is SO FUN and it will be out next month at Jo-Ann too :)

Lazy days of summer. What I love most about our 3 month break from school!

And on to the card sketch from Page Maps....

Obsessed with this Haute Pink Stack too. Do you see a trend lately? I just adore all of our latest releases :) But I especially love this one! Such a fun card. And I used the "Stripes Box of Cards" for my card base. Those cards always come in so handy! Haute Pink will be out at Jo-Ann this month too. I will be posting a video on Monday showing you Haute Pink along with 6 other new Jo-Ann Stacks so be sure to come back MONDAY :)

DT Member Sara also used the page sketch for her fun Beach page. She used the Downtown Loft Stack. I love how she layered her circles, a clean, gorgeous page!

Also, we have a big 4th of July Sale going on at DCWVDeals! With the code: LETFREEDOMRING you can get 3 stacks for the price of 1 full price stack! And we have some new ones in there including: Timeless Type, the newest Baby Girl Stack and Tradewinds! Love these but they are limited quantities so get your order in quick! Offer expires on Tuesday night.

And for one more fun thing, leave me a comment on this post telling me your holiday weekend plans and 2 winners on Monday will receive a box of our newest stacks! Love that right? Happy 4th y'all! Everyone have fun and stay safe :)

  42. Hi Erin, love that page layout. The boys snuggling together is a beautiful photo. Just the reason we scrap. It's one of those Mom's fav's pix. Thanks for sharing it with us. I don't know about any July 4th cookout here... It's rained all week and the sun is up,(at least I think it is)and more rain today. The house up the street from us has been draining his back yard all week! So we'll probably be cooking in today. :-( Ahhh well, it will be fun to have my sweetie home for a couple of days. I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday weekend.
    Hugs, Jess

  49. I am sick of being sick. Today is Day #29 and I'm still sick. I've decided that I need to get out of this house (NOT contagious) and put a smile on my face. Soooooooooo, we are using a gift card and going to the movies and then use another gift card and out to dinner. IF I have any energy after the shower and fluffing, I may or may not create. Happy Fourth to you and yours.

Oh Erin, what cute pix of your 'snuggle bunnies'! Those are the awesome moments that keep us scrap pin' so that we can hold on to them forever right? Great LO.! Our holiday weekend plans are sort of in limbo now as it seems I overdid the garden work this week and finally couldn't even get out of bed this morn and we missed our fav parade :( But, I'm trying to get myself pulled together so that we can head out to our big county fair, have some fun, and watch some awesome fireworks tonight. Hopefully, I'll be better for the rest of the weekend to find some time to do some serious cleaning up in my scrap cave...can't find anything so you know it's overdue!
