Sometimes you get a new stack of paper and it makes you just want to CREATE!
That is what this stack did for me...
The 12x12 Kidlet Stack is already out at Jo-Ann and the 6x6 version will be on shelves the beginning of February. Love the colors, prints and complete feel of this stack...and so does our design team!
First, let me tell you a little story...
I got a new baby nephew this fall named Maximus. His mama is my husband's only sister and I really do think of her as my flesh and blood sister more than anything else. We were definitely meant to be sissys :) She is the best aunt ever and we waited a long time for her to get a baby of her own. So this little guy is a very big deal in our family! After I saw her newborn photo shoot photos, I knew I wanted to make a mini album with the 6x6 Kidlet Stack.
I used a 6x6 chipboard mini album from Maya Road and used acrylic paint to paint it. And then it was super easy to cover all of the pages with the 6x6 paper. They fit perfectly! And could that sock monkey be any cuter? There are tons of cute elements that you can cut out from the papers of this stack.
The photo of Maximus on the bed (above) and the one with him and his owl hat (of course I gave him that cute hat ;) were printed on our new Fabric paper. It is so easy to run it through the printer to give your photos a vintage feel. I will show a tutorial on how to do this very soon!
I have a soft spot in my heart for baby boys. Maybe cause I have 2 of my own! Maximus spent most of December with us and I already want to hop a plane to Texas to see him. His mama better read this and bring him back to me soon!!!
Ok...on to other things ;)
I LOVE this layout that DT Member Sara made!
Sara used the 6x6 Kidlet Stack to layer on top of white cardstock and I adore this look! She also printed the photo of her daughter on our Fabric paper. It is sold in the 6x6 stack and will look like this...
Remember, these 6x6 stacks will be out at Jo-Ann in February and will be $5.99!
And these two darling cards were created by DT Stack-a-holic Hilde. I love all of the layers that she added and also all the cute little guys from the Kidlet Stack! Also, I spy some of our new Cork Stack and Corrugated Stack...also new 6x6! I think you will want to collect them all once you see all of our fun examples of what you can do with them.
Can you tell we are all just a tad bit excited for all of this new paper? I hope you are too!!
Have a wonderful day!
