Fall Mini Album

Hey there!! Hope you are all having a great day :) This will be a quick post today! I have been super busy getting ready to film our first season of our show on My Craft Channel! I will be there all day tomorrow and I think I have everything ready :)

I am SO in love will all 12 of the projects that will be featured on our season. It will air starting in October so keep an eye out for it! I think you will love the ideas and the fact you can buy the project supplies with major discounts on DCWV Deals.

I love this mini album that DT Member Dayna Sabrina made with our Autumn Melody Stack which is out at Jo-Ann Stores right now. When it is all closed up, you can tell there is something fun inside!

Hi! I know I'm late for my Monday post but I have a good excuse! 

This morning, I was on our local TV morning show here in Utah, Good Things Utah. I had so much fun and took my cute Mama along to help me. She loved seeing the "behind the scenes" of the studio and news room. I am so used to going with Nancy when she films so I knew the process. But this time it was ME that got to do it! I loved it :) I will post the link tomorrow here on the blog when it's posted on their website! Such fun Halloween projects!

I have a lot of favorites myself. Visually it's all the fall colors. Love the leaves changing colors and bringing more beauty to my sight. Also my Birthday!!! I love fall colors (even though they get here a couple months late)!

Fall is 100% here in Utah! Can you believe this picture that I took yesterday evening driving up to the city? It was taken in Spanish Fork Canyon for anyone familiar with Utah. I had to pull over and soak it all in. It didn't even look real in real life! LOVE FALL and LOVE this Fall Stack...

Wild Splendor!! Isn't it just perfect for Fall?! I am just loving everything about it. I am feeling a little anxiety tho cause I only have 1 of these stacks....breath, Erin! I need to find MORE!!

I love this layout that DT Member Hilde created. I love all of the elements from the stack that she used, even if it doesn't scream Fall. The prints look great with her photo!

I absolutely love these cute little pumpkins that DT Member Sara made! A bowl of them on my kitchen table would just make me happy. The twine bows are a great finishing touch!!

Well I am exhausted!!! Good thing hubby put dinner in the Crock Pot on his lunch break. I left him with a recipe and everything he needed on the counter. He is for sure a keeper!!!!

Bewitched Mini Album

Hi there! Hope you are having a good day!

For those of you in Utah & Idaho, I will be on Good Things Utah on Monday morning! Channel 4 at 10am. I will post a link to the segment when it is posted. I have been with Nancy several times when she has been on the show but this will be my very first time! Can't wait :)

I have a great Halloween project to show you. Last year, I showed you how I keep our family Halloween memories documented in a special Halloween Album. I just think it's so fun to get out and keep on the coffee table every year. I love this Halloween Mini Album that Design Team Member Karla Der created!

She used a fun clear acrylic album for the base. And our new Bewitched Stack and matching embellishments highlighted all of her photos!

Love the black glitter paper...screams HALLOWEEN!

You can get complete instructions on how to make this mini album on Karla's blogpost HERE. I think this album would make a super cute gift for a grandparent or family member who lives away. Halloween is one of those fun holidays which we always want to document!

DT Spotlight: RIta Barakat

Hello there!! Thanks for stopping by this lovely Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. We seemed to cram a ton of stuff into 2 short days. But it was awesome. Except my football team lost by missing a last minute field goal. Ugh....horrible!! 

I saw this last night and just had to laugh...

Am I the only one who feels like this every Sunday night?! I guess I should just suck it up and be grateful I get another Monday :) I'll try to remember that when my Monday morning alarm is going off!

This Monday is exciting for Miss Rita because today we get to do a spotlight on her!

Rita is such an awesome member of our Design Team! She has a unique look and she is amazing when it comes to Mixed Media projects. She loves to get her hands dirty!

Here is how she explained her crafting background:

I have been scrap booking and crafting for about eight years and one of the first products I used was DCWV! I have several (OK ...by several, I really mean a LOT) collections of DCWV stacks (YES, I can admit I am a DCWV Stack-a-holic) in my scrapbook room! I am impressed how the quality and the designs of DCWV remain to be cutting edge today! I love scrap booking, mixed media, art journaling and crafting - DCWV makes it easy with so many wonderful options of product to choose from!

There is a little chill in the air here in Utah and it's making me SO happy for Fall! These layouts also make me happy for Fall ;) They are all made using the Autumn Melody Stack that is out at Jo-Ann Stores right now. DT member Thomisia made this darling 2 page layout. I call her the Queen of the Double Page :) I love everything about this layout and it for sure makes me hungry! See more of her layout HERE.

I love that this layout was made with a white piece of cardstock and pieces from the Autumn Melody matstack. The matstacks are so versatile! Love this Neon Chic!

Hey guys!! Happy to have you back here today! I hope you are enjoying your week. Mine has definitely been less stressful than the last so I am happy.

I am excited to tell you that I will be debuting on My Craft Channel in October! 

Have you ever watched these episodes?? It's so much fun, I've been watching several to figure out how I want the set and what to wear :) Important things you know! We will be showing you darling projects made with products that are available to purchase at AWESOME prices on our DCWV Deals site. New stuff is going up on the Deals site and it's going to be so much fun having a direct way for you to purchase the project materials. So keep an eye on that! Our show will be on once a week through the end of the year.

Today's stack inspiration comes to use from DT Stack-a-holic Dayna Sabrina. She used the new Neon Chic Stack (available now at Michaels) to make some really fun projects! I love the bright colors of this stack.

I love this fun layout using the stack. Just when you think you have seen all of the details on this page, you something else! I love the blue print that ties in the blue sky in the photos.

These cards are awesome too. I love the big banner pieces with the greeting on them. The cute flowers and bakers twine finish it off perfectly! More on how she made her cards can be found HERE.

Edumacation Composition Notebook

Wow, these projects are so fun! I don't often work with florals but this gives me so many great ideas!

I have the cutest project to show you today! DT Stack-a-holic Britt Bass made this adorable school themed notebook! She used the Edumacation Stack which is out at Michaels right now. 

The little owl that was cut from the paper is my favorite part :)

TGIF x 1 million :)

That has the theme of today. TGIF x 1 million! It's just been one of those weeks where I haven't handled my schedule or stress very well. Maybe it was the 4 day work week working against me. But I am going to make sure I have a nice, relaxing weekend and will be all ready for Monday!! As much as I dislike Mondays, that is the great thing about them. A fresh start.

I don't want to leave for the weekend without sharing some wonderful Stack inspiration with you!! Our amazing Design Team has been working hard to create beautiful creations to share with you. They are amazing and am so grateful to have their talent and support!!

The team has followed in my footsteps and has LOVED the new Sweet Blossom Stack which is out at Michaels right now! Yes, I have been known to hoard 1 or 2 or 3 of these stacks ;) I will never tell!

Karla made this darling layout using our September Stack-a-holic Template. I love it when the team plays along with us. This is such a versatile stack, they can really make any pictures look cute! I love Karla's handwriting too :) See more of her layout HERE. 

 

Jan made this card using the Sweet Blossom Stack. I love the texture on these pages! You can really see it with the above card. Love the extra glitter that she added to the centers of the flowers. Jan's card is featured HERE as well. 

I love this wall hanging that Jan also made! I love the 3D poppies that come off the page. And the little shutters on the windows...just such fun little details! This has to look so cute on her wall! Get more details on how to make it on her blog post HERE. 

And we so excited to see this stack featured on the Creating Keepsakes Blog! Mou Saha made this beautiful layout with the honeycomb print in the Sweet Blossom Stack. I love all of the layers on this layout. And the colors in this honeycomb print may be my favorite color combination right now :)

Here is my card using the Edumacation Stack from Michaels. I love the colors...you could easily change the saying and make this a card for a teacher or principal.
