It's that time of the year again for the scrappers of Utah & Idaho! It's time for the Scrapbook USA Expo in Sandy, Utah! Over the last 10 years of doing this Expo, we have quite the fan base going at this event! Lots of you wonder why we don't do more of these around the country and the answer is pretty simple. This one is about 30 minutes from our warehouse and offices so it makes it super easy for us to clear out excess inventory and give our customers some great deals. We wish you were ALL able to join us! But as always, I will gather a little goodie box from our booth and send it to a lucky blog fan when it gets closer!

You will want to save this image and either print it or have it handy on your smart phone. With this VIP Pass, you will get special pricing and extra deals at our booth :) And if you have been to this show, you know that we already have awesome deals!! I can't wait to see you guys there! It's always so fun to chat with our blog fans and FB fans. You guys make my job SO FUN!! I will let you know what special deals we will have as the Expo gets closer but for now, get it on your calendar and get your tickets!

Hello! I have read all of your comments from Wednesday's video and I am so happy that you loved these new stacks! A lot of you said that Spring Fling was your favorite release in the last year! I kinda knew that would be the case ;) Keep an eye on the shelves at Jo-Ann Stores starting March 1st. All stores roll out their stuff kinda on their own schedule but the stores should have them out within that week. And some stores set it out early! You just never know but keep checking. I am dying to start playing with them and to start seeing your creations with them!

Well around here it's Teacher Appreciation time! I love how our school goes above and beyond to make our teachers feel special. Teachers are under paid, under appreciated and vital to our society! I am so lucky my little guy has the cutest teacher. Mrs. N is close to retirement but no one wants her to leave! She has so much experience, the kids adore her and she tells the coolest stories from her childhood. Plus she has a piano in the classroom & frequently plays the accordion! I tell my son all the time he will NEVER have another teacher like her!!

What a blessing it is to have your child have a wonderful teacher! Handmade thank you gifts are the best and teachers especially appreciate them!

This is a great project for a special teacher! I love how easy this would be to really customize it to your teacher and let them know what you love about them! You can use our Chalkboard Stack and either hand cut the letters or use a cutting machine to die cut them. Attach to some ribbon and then you can decorate with chalk! If you haven't watched THIS VIDEO yet, check it out because I give you some great tips on what kinds of chalk work great on our chalkboard paper.

The banner would be darling with your child's handwriting and note to their teacher :)

Here's another great idea with the chalkboard paper, a simple thank you note! Die cut two of the same apples and use a brad to attach them together. Decorate the front with chalk and then you can slide the top apple to see the message on the inside.

If you have any ideas of Teacher Appreciate crafts, I'd love to see photos of them on our Facebook page! Also, you only have a few days left to enter in February's Stack-a-holic Template Challenge!! I've gotten some pretty awesome pages and would love to see more :)

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Thank goodness for FRIDAY!! This week has gone really slow for me for some reason. I am ready to rest and relax and have FUN for the next 2 days. How about you??

I am most excited about my Crop Night with my girlfriends tonight! Need to pack up my scrapbook tote with things to work on. I bet the new Spring Fling & Summer Days Stacks will be in there ;) I'm hoping to have a video of these to show you next week! You've been waiting for Jo-Anns new Spring & Summer stacks and the wait is almost over!!

Just wanted to show you 2 pages that were made with the Chateau Lavender Stack which is at Jo-Anns right now! These were up in our CHA booth, I still have lots of things to show you from the booth. I like to drag it out so there is stuff to look forward to ;)

I love the paper flowers on this page! The colors and details are incredible!

I love how calming and beautiful these prints are. I think this stack and matstack would make the prettiest cards too!

I hope you each have a wonderful weekend! Monday will begin a new week with new product videos, giveaways and of course lots of great craft ideas. I'm so glad you have made the DCWV Diary a part of your day!! See you soon :)

Hello my friends!

I love doing this blog because I LOVE being in constant contact with our customers! When people ask what I do for the company, I tell them my technical job title but sometimes I just want to say "Customer Service"! And being a Customer Service Specialist is definitely part of my job! I love hearing from you on Facebook & through email and answering your questions and seeing your creations!

I am still getting lots of requests wondering what you can do with your new Chalkboard Stacks! So I knew a mega inspiration post was needed :) I took all of these photos from Pinterest and if you search for "Chalkboard" and "Chalk" you will find these and even more!
