Hello everyone! I have been so excited for this week to get here! We have some {fall fun} in store for you. All this week, you will get all kinds of amazing inspiration from projects using our DCWV Autumn Melody Stack and one of my favorite tools in my craft room!
We are doing a week long blog hop with Scor-Pal!
This handy little tool has been in my craft room FOREVER I swear! I just love Diana Crick who is the founder of the company. She is one of my sweet friends that I always have to hug when I am at CHA :)
All this week, we will be showing you projects from our awesome Design Team that they created with the tool and the Autumn Melody Stack (available at Jo-Ann Stores)
DT Member Amanda created an accordion-fold mini album. Each fold holds a pull-out page with a bejeweled tab.
How cute would this album be with Thanksgiving photos or even turned into a gratitude journal? See more of Amanda's project on here blog HERE.
DT Member Dayna created a gorgeous card set. She used the Scor-Pal to dry emboss a frame pattern around the top mat of each card.
I just love these cards!!! Maybe one of them will show up in my mailbox ;) Whoever receives them will LOVE them :) See Dayna's cards up close and personal on her blog HERE.
DT Stack-a-holic Tessa created an accordion-fold decor piece for her mantel. Using the Scor-pal to create the folds, she decorated each panel in tags, papers, embellishments and a letter from the word "thanks".
I love the flowers and the delicate feathers on this project. So pretty! You can see more of this project on Tessa's blog post HERE.

ReplyDeletewow...those flowers are gorgeous. These projects are stunning. I really want a scorpal. It makes things go a lil easier. I take a class once a month and I get to use it there but I would love to use one all the time. Your stack is so beautiful like all your stacks.

Today my favourite would have to be the card set - the dry embossed frames are simply gorgeous!!!
I have dry embossed designs using Mini ShapeBoss and score my folds using a ruler on my craft mat, now that I have seen that "scored framing" I see that REALLY NEED to get a Scor-Pal :)
It is very easy to do, I'm sure you're going to love it!

ReplyDeleteLove the fact that you are using the autumn melody stack...........this is one of the stacks I have been trying to decide if I really need it vs wanting it since I have a huge weakness for fall/halloween/thanksgiving! Looking forward to the ideas that are to come........go design team!:)

LOVE this stack! I don't think there's a paper in here that isn't gorgeous! The card set is my favorite I think, one of the neatest things I've seen done with a Scor-Pal is this dry embossed type of border. Actually, all of the projects are fabulous (and I love the idea of a thankful journal!).

All three projects are too stunning for words. I love the embellished mini, and the set of cards - wonderful! I would love to receive one of them:-) and then the decor piece was just lovely... perfect for a mantel!

ReplyDeleteI've got the Autumn Melody matstack and I'm loving it -- what I'm not loving is the total inability to find it online so I can link to it in a materials list! I guess it's probably a Joann exclusive too, but it's not on their website.

I have had the Scor Pal for a couple of years now and love it so much. If you don't have one, it is a wonderful purchase and you will use it all the time. These are beautiful projects!!

I never use the foil paper, I just hoard them because they are so pretty. After seeing that wonderful mini album and those beautiful cards, I'll be using them very soon. Thanks for the inspiration.
