ReplyDeleteYEPEE!! only just a little over a month so I can dress up and haunt the kids in the neighbour hood!! I love watching their little faces being a little leary of the Witch lady who greets them at the door and then it evolves into a big old grin as I reach into my bubbling caldron and grab them their goody bags!! Made the paper with my dressing up and my lifesize homemade monsters and aleins decore. What a blast. Always looking at and for new ideas for the season. And it makes it so much fun to then scrap them.

The colors of autumn are so rich and lovely . I love the jewel tones. It also is the start of the holiday season with Halloween, how can that not be awesome!

I love the colors. The reds, the yellows, and especially orange! I love the smell of the leaves and bonfires. I love the cornstalks and pumpkins that decorate everyone's yards. And of course, who can resist Halloween...jack-o-lanterns and black cats and those cute kids dressed in their costumes! A scrapbooker's dream...many fall pages to scrap on DCWV paper!

This year we have chosen the book Halloween Night by Marjorie Dennis Murray for the kids Halloween party and we have chosen a cemetery/spider yard theme. Cannot wait to start the spiders!

I love fall! We live in Sweden, and last year me and my daughter carved a pumpkin for the very first time, and I loved it! This year we're gonna go "ALL in" with the Halloween decor! :D Both outside and in. Actually Halloween is what made me realize the orange can be a nice colour - earlier I really couldn't stand it! :D

ReplyDeleteI love that it's getting colder, which is a perfect excuse for staying in bed/in the house all day unter my warm, fluffy blanket and read my favourite books :) But scarving pumpkins and decorating for fall and wearing thick, warm clothes again also isn't bad ^^ And I really like the sound of rain on the roof at nights, it helps me going to sleep a lot ^^ Fall is great, only winter is better because it has snow :D

I love Halloween! It's our favorite holiday over Christmas. Hubby and I decorate the yard and put out all of our spiders, big and small just for the one night.

ReplyDeleteHalloween brings out the creativity in EVERYONE!!!! Parties and all the spooky decorations, pumpkins, skeletons, cauldrons, graveyards and spiders. Dressing up like witches, superheroes, pirates and even ghosts made from bedsheets. The food!! When else would you eat witches fingers, worms, eyeballs and then eat your weight in candy.
Purples, greens, oranges, black. I am just so excited. Can't wait to be spooked :)

The Halloween holiday is especially Grand because my family pulls together to have a HUGE Back yard walk thru for all the neighborhood families to bring the kids to. Games and Goodies make for a Great evening with family and friends

After I've moved to Tokyo, our family miss this events a lot, but when we play with your products for preparing cards for friends we are soooo happy. My favorite thing in this events is carving Jack-o-lantern!! Thank you so much for giving a chance to have your wonderful collections!
ReplyDeleteMy birthday of course! I celebrate all month long with pumpkins, cool fall fun days, leaf piles, hayrides, pumpkin patch, cupcakes, trick or treat night! You know all the fun stuff of the season!
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season, especially living in NC! I love going up into the Smokies and seeing the beautiful combinations of colors against a blue sky. I also love the fresh crisp air! I love the smells of fall too! The bonfires, burning leaves, pumpkin every thing, The apple orchards up here in the mountains. Now that I've written all this, I need a day up on the Appalachian Trail!! :)

I love the leave changing season and helping my grand kids dress up to celebrate Halloween. Have so much fun with them.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Halloween is decorating the house/yard with a theme. I have a large Dept. 56 group of Halloween houses I decorate with inside as well. I LOVE Halloween.

The best part of Halloween is all the great new stuff that come out so I can make new fun decorations every year.
ReplyDeletethe best part of halloween is the day-after candy! we live out in the sticks, so we don't get kids in their costumes. we enjoyed giving out candy and watching the little tricksters hit all of the houses in the neighborhood, but not any more. hopefully, we will get back into a neighborhood in the near future.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Halloween is putting the village I made three years ago from halloween papers on my mantle with lights and switching our interior decor to fall items.I make something new each year. We live in the country so we don't get trick or treaters other than our grandkids. I love making their goodie treat bags.
ReplyDeleteI have a few faves: the changing of the seasons, the colors of the leaves, the smell of the fall harvest, apples cooking. I also love seeing the extent some people go to to decorate their house/property for Halloween's trick or treaters. Love the costumes.

I love the Fall for the clear crispness of an air that makes you hunker down under the covers or wrap that jacket a little closer around you. I also love the renewed energy it gives. I love walking this time of year, especially when it gets closer to Halloween and I can see the creativity coming out on my neighbors' lawns and windows. It's just fun!

ReplyDeleteHappy First Day of Fall y'all!! My favorite thing is all of it...Fall is my favorite time of year. Our Anniversary is in a week, my birthday is the week after and hubby's is in November. We love Halloween and always do some great display in our yard to scare the neighborhood kids and I love making my boys costumes for them. We live in the valley of our province where we are met with Farmer's markets full of apples and pumpkins locally grown along with corn and sunflowers mazes....I love our little town during the Fall! Not to mention the return of comfort foods, and cooler weather to do some baking...the best time of the year.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that it finally gets a little cooler. (southeast Texas is sooo hot) When I say cooler I mean it gets around 60's in the mornings then usually 80's by afternoon. I also love Halloween for my grandson. He loves costumes. He plays in them all year. After Halloween we but 2 or 3 more just to play in.

ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love about fall?! I love to decorate (I usually start right after labor day, and make new stuff all the way through Thanksgiving week) I love apples, and my kids are still young enough to enjoy the pumpkin patch.

ReplyDeleteWhen my children were younger...it was making their costumes and trick or treating. Now that they are all three in college...it's sending their Halloween care packages with treats and their pumpkin rolls! We love love love pumpkin rolls!!!

ReplyDeleteLiving here in Florida, the best part of Fall is the cooler temps.....not exactly sweater weather yet but we will soon be saying goodbye to temps in the 90's and I can start riding my bike again.
