Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a safe and amazing 4th of July! DCWV actually gave us yesterday off as well so we had an extra fun holiday! So grateful for that :) We had a pretty perfect All American 4th. Small town parade. Before the big parade starts there is a Kids Parade where the kids decorate their bikes and ride through. My boys love that :) BBQ. Slip & Slide. And of course a rodeo :) Our small town is the perfect place to celebrate Independence Day! Here are a couple pics...
Look how handsome my cowboy is ;) I love a man in plaid & boots! And I really do prefer a ball cap over a cowboy hat!
The boys all ready to ride in the parade! Look at those decked out bikes! It really was such a fun holiday!
I can't believe that I leave for CHA in a little over a week! CRAZY! Lots to do...getting the design team chosen and ready to announce at the first day of the show! I'm so excited about this! It will be here before we know it!
To hold you over til the show, I have a new video to show you! Click HERE to see the newest stacks that are at Michaels this month! I am really dying over this new school stack :) They are all fab in their own way. Leave me a comment telling me which stack you are most excited to craft with! Remember, I pick comment winners every Monday ;)
Have a fabulous weekend!! See you back here on Monday!

It is so hard to choose a favorite. I love them all and want to get them all. I do really love the Lodge stack. But all of them I cant wait to get my hands on. Ive already got images and idea's moving around in my head. Glad you all enjoyed your 4th.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys had a great 4th! We live in a small town too, and have a big neighborhood get together every year. We all bring food and then pool together our fireworks (we live in an area where it's legal!) for an awesome show. It's just like something you would see out of a 50s movie! So much fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the preview of the new stacks!! I always love the videos! The Edumacation stack looks like it will be a much have for all those school pages! Even though my kids are grown, I'm always playing catch-up with all those photos to be scrapped!!

ReplyDeleteI am excited about the 8x8 Timeless Type stack! I have the 12x12 stack of this paper but I mostly do 8x8 pages so this will be great!
ReplyDeletewhat a cute idea to have a mini parade for the kids. Your kids look adorable on their bikes! Unfortunately, I don't have use for school stacks and I'm not a fan of photo real stacks. Except for the beach pages. The one with sand and sand dollars is so cute! I hope to see that sold by the sheet somewhere!
ReplyDeleteLove the Edumaction and the Lodge stack!
ReplyDeleteI love the School Stack!!!But they are all AWESOME!!!

ReplyDeleteAmy V

ReplyDeleteOh wow, love the school stack as my newest grandson and my great grandaughter will eventually be going to school. I have the first lodge stack, and this one is great too. But I think my fave is the Photo Season stack, because I just love the images. They would be great for those seasonal scrap pages. I have a lot of those from when I lived in NH. Thanks Erin, and DCWV for all the lovely papers you give us. Hugs, Jess
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Edumacation stack. Love the die cuts and pretty epoxy papers. The handwriting sheets caught my eye. It's just the perfect stack for making cards for teachers!
ReplyDeleteI just love the Timeless Type mini stack. I would use these papers on cards and mini-albums. Oh yeah!
ReplyDeletekosec@sbcglobal.net
My fav' is The Edumacation Stack because it has the "about me" fill ins (great idea) and the "Map of the World" which would be great for travel and other ideas!! Great stacks for so many reasons!
ReplyDeleteThese new stacks are wonderful! My favorite is the Edumacation Stack because of that "how to write cursive" page. Handwriting is sadly becoming extinct since many schools are not teaching it any more. I think this page would be fabulous framed all by itself! Thank you for including it in this stack!
ReplyDeleteYour little family is so precious Erin. Love those two little boys on their bikes. As for my favorite new stacks, the Lodge stack is absolutely my number one fav, followed by the 8 x8 Timeless Type. I can see myself reaching for the Edumucation stack frequently, too. It's always so hard to pick just one favorite!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, cute pics! I love the Edumucation Stack, can't wait!!
