Another weekend is finally here!
Do you have any big plans?? My plans are pretty boring this time around...I am having surgery early Friday morning on my nose to correct some long time breathing problems. I thought I just had a deviated septum but it turns out there are all kinds of problems up that nose of mine. Basically, my nostrils have collapsed! Weird huh! So this weekend will be me taking it easy and my Mama taking care of my kids :) What would we do without family?! I'm sure I will be back to my old blogging self by Monday so don't worry about a thing :) And when all my bandages come off next Friday, I will be a new woman who can finally BREATH! So excited for that!
I wanted to share with you a fun project today that was created with our DCWV Chalkboard Stack and Xyron adhesive!
I love the retro feel of the project and love all of the cool die cuts. Xyron is perfect for getting adhesive on all those little, tiny pieces! And our Chalkboard Stack is perfect for this fun Father's Day gift idea. I have loved seeing all of your fun ideas using our chalkboard paper. So create :)
If you haven't checked out Xyron's new blog, you can see it HERE!
Have a fabulous weekend! Wish me luck and I will hopefully be back here on Monday ;)

Sending good thoughts your way today for a successful surgery and fast recuperation....although, having had nose surgery myself, the whole weekend you will just be focused on getting that horrid packing OUT OF THERE! I am sure the results will have you breathing great! Take time to recover....you know we'll hang around, even if you need some extra days! Cute chalkboard idea, too!

First of all, I hope your surgery and recovery exceed expectations and that you are feeling great very soon. Your menu board is adorable -- it really reminds me of the old fashioned drive-ins where they would serve you wearing roller skates.
ReplyDeletepined it :)

Cute idea, Hope your surgery goes well.
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable and retro! The menu sounds irresistible too, definitely something dad would like. Good luck with your surgery, you are very brave. I know exactly what surgery you need, my doc recommended it and I am a chicken - who is still having trouble breathing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and yummy idea. Love all the cuts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI hope that your surgery went really smoothly and that you are now recovering well. I can understand that urge to breathe well, as my brother had similar issues!
ReplyDeleteLove this chalkboard menu.
Be well!
Hope your surgery was great and you are having an easy recovery. What a cute project today. Love the die cuts used. Great job. TFS
ReplyDeleteSpeedy recovery to you! I hope all is well! I love this menu board, its very retro and cute!
ReplyDeleteAwesome menu board!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable and retro indeed! Good luck on your surgery and get well soon!!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! It would be fun to just have an everyday one of those to let the family know what's for dinner.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the nose surgery - I had something similar done a few years ago and it does improve the breathing! I just wish they had told me I could blow my nose after the 1st day, I went an entire week in agony needing to blow it - now if my sinuses would not act up it would all be great - HAVE A SPEEDY RECOVERY!!!!
ReplyDeleteJackie
