Another Friday and another weekend is here! Happy Easter to all of my blogging friends! What are your weekend plans? We will be with family. Egg hunts, shopping, eating out, watching movies, Mama's cooking. All I need! It's going to be a little cool in Utah this weekend but I won't let that spoil my fun :) What are you going to be up to this weekend??
I wanted to share with you the wreath that is on my front door right now. I love how simple it is and how it screams SPRING! All I did was get a foam wreath form from the craft store and wrap it with ribbon that I had on hand. These happen to be May Arts Ribbons which I love as you know :) I secured the ribbon down with trusty hot glue.
For the flowers, I used the Cricut cartridge, Flower Shoppe, and the Spring Fling Stack. I kinda did my own thing with putting the flowers together. The Cricut does the hard part of cutting out your flowers. Geez, I have hand cut "a few" of these babies in the past and it was so nice to have the machine do it this time! It's a great cartridge if you haven't seen it yet. Added ribbon, button & pearl to the centers and cut out the "Happy" piece from a piece of paper from the stack.
I wonder how many Spring Fling Stacks I will go through this year. I just can't get enough!!
Have a wonderful day, weekend and Easter!! See you back here on Monday!

You and me both cant get enough of the Spring fling!!! LOL I love your wreath Erin!!!!

ReplyDeleteI'll have to get that cartridge! Those flowers are sometimes a bear to cut out and make turn out well. Very cute wreath! I wish my door was protected from the elements so I could hang wreaths.
ReplyDeleteI love the wreath. Prefect for my plain front door. Thanks for the idea.

Cute wreath! Erin, could you ask for comments one time about how people store their stacks? Most of my paper is stored vertical, but the stacks seem to have issues that way and try to curl. If I stack them up, I cannot see which ones they are. Ideas?

ReplyDeleteVery cute, Erin! And I agree on using the Cricut for the flowers, I just got Flower Shoppe & Art Philosophy, and boy do those two cartridges make life easier if you make a lot of flowers! So much easier than hand cutting!
ReplyDeleteErin, I love that wreath so much - I just might have to make a run to Hobby Lobby and pick up the 'ingredients' for my own. Happy Easter!
