Another Monday!! Can you believe they get here so fast?!
Must be May :) Crazy ol' May!!!
I hope some of you got to play and scrap this weekend as part of National Scrapbook Day!! And with Mother's Day, hopefully you had some free time to your self...that is always so nice :) I am going to give everyone one more day to enter our giveaway that I announced on Friday! So check back tomorrow to see if you won!
This week is DCWV-May Arts Ribbon Week!!
I love working with this company, they are the perfect ribbon for our stacks! In the past, I wished that we made our own ribbon...then I discovered May Arts and decided we could stick with paper, lol :)
I {love} this ribbon!!
So this week, all of my projects will feature our paper with their ribbon...and their blog will do the same! So check them out HERE and join in on the fun! I promise there will be free goodies :)
Today I am announcing our new Stack-a-holic Template Challenge for
MAY!
I will give you the template...you make the page. Share it on our Facebook page, share it on your blog and send a link or email it to me at erinmadsen@diecutsinc.com. You have until May 25th to submit your page. I will pick my "Top 10" submissions to share on the blog and I will pick a random winner from those 10 for an awesome prize! Wanna play??!
Here is your template from Susan at Sketch Savvy!
I played with the new Royal Garden Stack this time which is available at Jo-Anns stores and online...I love the colors in it and thought it would be so fun for my Easter pictures from last month!
Here is what I came made with the sketch....
{click on page to enlarge}
Isn't the gold foil SO gorgeous?! Wow.
I used this ribbon and paper together to make a cute bow! They are SO easy...I was going to make a video but it would be like 2 seconds long it's so easy :) So to make a bow....
1. Take whatever width and length of paper and adhere ends to make a circle.
2. Put some adhesive on inside of the circle, on the seam from adhering in step 1.
Press down so both sides are equal on both sides. From the side it will look like an "8"
3. Layer the pieces...ribbon and paper until you like the look of it.
4. For the center, just wrap another paper band around and adhere in the back.
Hope this makes sense! If you want a video, let me know and I will make one :)
Have a fabulous day!! Back tomorrow with our giveaway winners :)
