I do have a project to show on today's post but...first thing's first...

Today I wanted to share one more Easter project...love how it turned out!!
First download the {Carrot Box Template HERE} and print it....cut it out and trace on your orange cardstock or printed paper...you could use any kind. I got my cute orange print out of here....
It has some pretty cute orange prints! Check your Halloween stacks too!! I got 3 carrot boxes out of one sheet of 12x12 cardstock...
Trace the template onto your paper..cut on the solid lines and score on the dotted lines. I used my trust Scor-Tape to put my box together. I added some green glitter cardstock to top of the box and then used my fringe scissors and added two different colored stringy "weeds" to the top of the box. Used brads to keep it closed!

You could fill your box with some yummy candy...and if you wanted to use these as your place cards just by adding a little tag to the bakers twine :)

That is cute!! One of my favorites this season was Pia!! She is amazing and should not have gone home!! I like Lauren also but I really like Scotty!! Another idol favorite of mine is Blake Lewis from season 6!!! He is awesome too!!! You should check out his 2nd album heartbreak On Vinyl!!! Also Blake is working on his 3rd album too!!

I watch AM every week and don't even know the girls names. I like the one who has the voice like Adele. I love that raspy sound. For the guys I think James did a rocken job last week. I will miss Stafano's pretty face but agreed that he was the weaker of the group. They are all amazing this year.
ReplyDeleteFor your carrot project: Love it. What a cute simple idea to really jazz up the candy giving. You're always full of great ideas. Of course, the right paper pack sure helps too.
It is SO hard to pick this season, everyone is fabulous!! But I lean toward Scottie even though I am not a CW fan. Now what I do love is your carrot box. How cute is that!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLauren all the way....I just hope her age doesn't work against her.....Pia I believe would have won it...but they did offer her a record deal....which is what she wanted.....I still don't see how Casey has made it through this far...

Cute carrot box. My favorite was Stephano because he is from my town and went to my daughter's high school. But he has gone home :( so my favorite now is James.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!!! I have several faves - Casey and James! They are so different from the usual fare. Lauren is good but I'd like to see her have a stronger performance. Going to be a tough decision in the next few weeks.

ReplyDeleteI love your carrot box, very creative especially diplaying it outside! I had 2 favorites Scotty and our lost Pia. How sad was that? But sometimes it is not the actual winners that has the best careers, so maybe America did her a favor. But I wish it had been later in the season. haha
