Summer Dreams!

Well it's almost July and we are in full fledge SUMMER!!!

Summer at our house means:

{daily swim lessons}

{days at the pool}

{baseball}

{and more baseball. And he's only 5!!!}

{naps. even though we have outgrown them. playing way too hard!}

And it is DOUBLE SIDED!!! It's like Christmas when I pick up one of our stacks and find that it's double sided!! Makes it even more special!!

So there is your {virtual} flip through the stack. Picture yourself standing in the aisle of the craft store doing it yourself :)

The red/white/blue prints in the stack are AWESOME!!! I love the 4th of July and wanted to incorporate the papers into the decorations that I already had on my mantel.

I made some little flags for my mantel. Love how they look with my Liberty banner!

Are you feeling ready for the weekend now!! I have a really fun project to show you on Friday...hint hint, my boys will be wearing them at the rodeo and parade this weekend!!!

Have a {fabulous} day!!!

Mod-Retro Fun!

Can you believe it is July this week?! Is it true the older you get, the faster time goes? I believe it is. Where is the summer going? I long for a day that I have nothing to do but sit at the pool and listen to my little boys play. But today is a day taxi driving to birthday parties, baseball games, cooking class, grocery shopping and working any minute in between! But I am grateful to have the life I have, so I just take a deep breath and face the day with a smile!!

I worked on some digital pages this weekend. Here is one that I made with the Mod Retro Digital Kit from 300dpi.com by DCWV.

The background Houndstooth print is my favorite! What  hot look right now! And the black/yellow/turquoise combo make me happy :)

Wednesday brings a project from the new Summer Dream Stack that is available at Jo-Ann's right now! Double sided yumminess. Love it when we make double sided stacks....stay tuned!!

Sneak Peek #2

"Good morning, Beautiful."

That is what I think about this stack. I know there is an advertisement in this month's Scrapbook Etc. magazine with a peek at this stack. But not everyone gets the magazine and "The Black Currant Stack" is just too gorgeous to not have the spotlight :) I can honestly say that this is on my
TOP 3 STACKS OF ALL TIME LIST!!!

The foil and gloss accents are gorgeous. Can you tell I am in LOVE?!!!

And a page that I made yesterday with it:

This stack, along with our other new releases next month, seriously have the HOTTEST colors in the industry right now. This raspberry, grey and black combo on this one is totally eye catching!!!

Guess who else came to play at my house yesterday?? My new {Sizzix Eclips Machine}!! I have been waiting for this beauty for a loooong time and I am so happy he is here!! I got him out of the box and was cutting within 10 minutes! The "fabulous" in my title on my page was cut with it. It's from the Birthday and Bean Pole Alphabet cartridge

And just to show how precise this baby is....

This is less than one inch tall and SUPER thin and look how great it cut it!!! There will be MANY more Eclips sightings on my new CHA pages!

Hope you enjoyed todays peek!! See you back here on Thursday!!

A Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I have loved reading the positive posts and responses to the Sneak Peek that I shared with you on Friday, the Bon Voyage Travel Stack.  I love being able to show BRAND NEW stuff to you guys, and I love even more hearing that you love it as much as I do!

The CHA-Winter show is in Chicago in 36 days!! So much to do in preparation for a launch. Booth samples, catalog samples and way too much "business" stuff to list! Another Sneak Peek will be here soon!!!

I kind of got behind this week with too many "fun" things so I worked all day on Saturday to play catch up! Digital pages for the 300dpi site were at the top of my "to do" list and I had so much fun on the couch watching chick flick movies and making digital pages! A definite PLUS for digital scrapping!

Here is my favorite page that I made on Saturday:

I used the "Doodlin Around Digital Kit" by 300dpi by DCWV. This is my favorite print in the kit, I love how the paper stands alone as art!! I scrapped a few pictures of my friend's little girl, Lauren. Little girls make the cutest pages :)

This is also a paper stack that is avaliable at Joanns. I love when our stacks and digital kits coordinate!

I am also ready for another GIVEAWAY on my blog on Wednesday so be sure to stop by and check it out then!! Everyone loves something FREE right?! :)

I love the strong vintage look of this stack! But there are still plenty of great prints that could be used for anything! I think this would be great for Heritage pictures as well. Again, LOVE the color scheme of this stack!!

I made this page quickly with some road trip pictures from our recent Disney trip. I cut out all of the tickets from a piece of 12x12 cardstock FULL of cool vintage tickets.

Love the epoxy finish and GLITTER on this stack!

Ahoy Summer!

Oh I love summer for LOTS of reasons. The laid back feel, kids playing outside all day, pool days. I have felt all of these things this week! (worked hard yesterday so I am taking off for the pool this afternoon!) My little boy, Colt, went to a pirate themed birthday party yesterday. So cute. I can't believe how big he is getting!

After I took this picture, it took me back to the day that I made this page.

I made it a few years ago when our "All About Boy" Stack came out (which is still one of my all time favs). My boys were pirates that year for Halloween. Poor Colt, he has no neck. That Christmas some stranger came up to me and said, "Oh no, is Santa going to bring your little boy a neck for Christmas?" Serious, why to strangers think they can say anything on their mind to someone they don't even know?!
Anyway :)

I love our stacks because we always seem to be up on the trends, which means pages made with our paper don't seem to be outdated too fast. This page was made 2 years ago but I could easily have made it just yesterday!!

Take a moment today and remind yourself why YOU love summer!

And I "may" have a sneak peek on FRIDAY, as long as my favorite Fed Ex man pulls through for me :)

Have a fabulous day!

Boys, Boys, Boys!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I spent time with my parents since my husband was on his guys trip....it was so much fun just being me, my Mommy and Daddy and my little boys. We had so much fun doing whatever the heck we felt like doing. Next visit their pool will be ready to swim in so we can't wait for that!

I have been busy making Digital Pages for the 300dpi Page Gallery! (check it out, you can even submit your own pages to show off!) Here is one that I did with my good friend, Rachel's, pictures. She has the cutest husband and little boy!! This page uses the "Big Outdoors" Digital Kit by 300dpi.com.

{click on page to enlarge}

I love Father's Day...and it will be here before we know it!! The June Challenge on 300dpi.com involves making a digital scrapbook page about a man or dad in your life. And we even give you "The Guy" Digital Kit by 300dpi.com to use!! Are we nice or what :) You can download the kit HERE and find out all about entering the contest! Here is what the kit contains:

Don't you love it!? I think it is so fun. It is always hard to find a good masculine kit and this one is perfect in my book! Have a great day!

Patriotic Fun

If you live in Utah or no someone who lives in Utah, you know that we have had the weirdest Spring ever! It is June and I just barley put away my Spring decorations! I was happy to put them away to get our my fun summer Patriotic decorations! I love all of the banners that are oh so popular right now so a patriotic one was just what I needed.

I used cardstock and paper scraps from various stacks to create this banner. I had a stash of thick cork board sheets that seemed to go well as well. I used my Sizzix Big Shot & Scallop & Circle dies along with my Cricut and the Lyrical Letters cartridge. May Arts ribbon to finish it off!

Have a great weekend! I am off to spend time with my parents while my husband is on a "boys play trip":)  See you next week!
