I am trying to get used to the change in the weather...I love all of the seasons but it's always an adjustment once the shift comes.

I was at Michaels this past Saturday and saw these new stacks. They had them all on a tall spinning rack. They are wonderful. I will be picking some up when I get paid. I think the Green Tea stack would be great for making cards for guys.

ReplyDeleteWow! so excited for these new stacks! Of the brand new stacks, I definitely will be getting Cotton Bloom and Gone Wild, and probably Green Tea... Four Seasons I'll have to see in person before I decide, but I don't think the Lodge stack is for me. Some great papers, but I don't think I'd use enough to justify buying that one. And the re-vamped older stacks- I will be getting them ALL I think! Maybe not the vintage collage one, but definitely all the others! I love the new Old World and Luxury Stack colors and can't wait to get ahold of more glitter paper!!! I would like to suggest more baby boy stacks tho! :)

ReplyDeleteI saw these stacks a few week ago at my local Michael's and I had to restrain myself from squeeing in glee because Street Lace was there. But as soon as I started looking through them, I knew I was in trouble because I knew I wanted all of them! But, if I had to choose only one, Green Tea would be it. I have lots of "girly" papers and always complain that it's so hard to fine nice prints in the blues/greens for my sons' pages. Green Tea has the colors I know I can use on my boys, but by adding just a few things here and there it's perfect for a girl's page as well! Plus, I just love all the foiling in that stack!

ReplyDeleteBut I don't have a Michael's near me!!! Do you know how far the nearest Michael's is to me??? Probably 750 miles... the deprivation we Alaskans put up with.... no Michael's for 750 miles! It's a good thing that Joann's is nearer... it's only 90 miles from me... and they carry DCWV too! I hope they have the new stock in when I get there next week!!!

') I think someone at DCWV is making all of these just for me because every one of them fits me and my style to a 'T' LOL I will also have to have all of the 'second edition' mats as those are my most used. I love, love, love DCWV paper - my favorite by far - truly an addict - my sister called and asked me Christmas ideas for my mom and all I can think that I really want is more DCWV paper ;-) I have been making Christmas tags for the church bazaar and I have almost gone through an entire Shimmer stack in one weekend - they are amazing and cut like butter - so I would have to say the Shimmer is a favorite of mine and the Four Seasons stack a close second - too hard to decide ;-)

I have a suggestion for a new stack too... scrapbookers as well as myself have been asking for more two page layout paper to be made available and I think it would be a huge hit if DCWV had a two page layout stack with coordinating pages to make various two page layouts... just an idea! ReplyDeleteI must really try to get one of the Four Seasons pack. I am scrapping pictures I took on a Master Gardener group tour to the Biltimore and this stack would be perfect. Perfect for some of my other garden pictures too. My only problem is the nearest Michael's is about 100 miles away.

Green Tea is my new favorite, but I really like the bright colors of Cotton Bloom. And it's not my style, but I actully really like the Four Seasons stack too! Great release this time!
