1st Stack-a-holic Surprise!

I have been really excited to try something {new} on the blog this morning!!! I love looking at blogs to find inspiration from all of YOU!! I love it when I am scrolling through a random blog and I find the cutest DCWV layouts. I want a way to feature our loyal DCWV customers and blog viewers! So periodically I will feature a stack customer's blog & DCWV layout and will post "my version" of their fabulous layout!! Sound fun?

So our first feature is the amazing Susan Stringfellow! I have been familiar with her work for years and her blog always features the cutest DCWV stack layouts! And I know she is a serious stack-addict which I love too :)

Here is Susan Stringfellow's Citrus Page that I scrap-lifted...you can go to her blog for more photos!

I love the color blocking with the Citrus Stack! And all of the little details just make me happy. Susan always has 3-D elements and stitching on her pages...love it.

And here is my version using my new Lion King picture! And I was so proud of myself that I quit being lazy and drug out my sewing machine for the layout...love how it turned out.

I used a combination of Black Currant Stack (for the black prints) and Mango Frost Stack (for the coral & yellow)

Thank you, Susan, for sharing your DCWV love with the blogging world!! Email me your "must have" stack on your wish list and I will send it your way!!

Now, I want to see {YOUR} fabulous DCWV layouts. Leave a comment here with your blog address or email me your layout photos to erinmadsen@diecutsinc.com and maybe YOU will be the next featured stack-a-holic!!

  12. I make baby books, primarily with DCWV stacks. Here are 3 that I have done within the last year.

This one I used the "All Dressed Up" stack:

This one I used the "Nana's Nursery Baby Boy" stack:
    http://amylizdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/11/dcwv-nanas-nusery-baby-boy.html

And this one, I used the "Green" stack:

The latest 2 I forgot to get pictures of and have asked the moms who I gave them too if they'd send me pictures, but they haven't yet!

I am also almost done with 2 more books using DCWV stacks and another one using a stack from Debbie Mumm.

Here's the Facebook page I created for my baby books:
