Well, first thing is first. I know everyone is waiting for a winner!! I loved reading all of your comments about your dream scrap room. It is interesting that many said you would love open shelves so you could see everything that you have. That is what I have and I would love custom built cabinets so I wouldn't have dust on all of my supplies!!! (It's always greener...) Yes, custom cabinets and a big smooth countertop with a built in trash chute would do me just fine. And by the way, I pick all winners by using www.random.org so you know there is no cheating on this end :) Congratulations to Lalia!!!
A larger smooth, continuous workspace with plenty of perfectly sized storage below that will actually accommodate 12x12 materials!
So I was strolling through the store last night with nothing to buy and a cart full of stuff and found 2 big aisles of clearnance toys! What Mama doesn't love that! This is when I stock up on friend birthday toys but I scored when I found Lego sets. My 5 year old is at the perfect age for Legos and the 3 year old loves to help. I busted out the Legos right after breakfast with high hopes of getting lots of stuff done in my office!
With all of the emails and computer work I have been doing lately, I knew I need to get my hands dirty and make something today. So I drug out one of my favorite new stacks, Songbird.
You may notice that my blog design is inspired by this stack! {Love ya, Tai} This stack is exclusive to Michaels and I totally think Michaels scored by snagging this stack! It is such a "happy" stack of papers, plenty of glitter always encourages a happy mood!
Since I love making cards, when I saw this piece of paper in the stack, I instantly thought of all of the possibilities of card greetings that it held. I love it when we create pages like this that you cut out the individual elements and make your own embellishments. These are so cute!

And this is what I came up with while I had a little quiet time thanks to some Legos. :) I love the happy colors while still having a slight vintage feel. If I received this card in the mail, I would for sure have a smile on my face for the rest of the day!
Thanks for stopping by!
